Most ‘electric’ motorbike-riders coudn’t get a XT500 started with the kickstarter. Funny enough it was quite simple, The only thing you had to do is put the piston on the highest point and then give a tiny strike on the kickstarter (so the piston could only go down after a strike) and hit it. This bike became famous in The Netherlands because a bankrobber stole one and robbed a bank but then couldn’t get it started anymore after he came running out of the bank with the money.
