The UK based bike brewers from Auto Fabrica like things clean and simple. So when building a cafe racer, they go down to the bare essentials. The design task for this Yamaha SR500 was also simple: create a one-off bike with a timeless appearance. The result is a slick and simple looking Yamaha SR500 cafe racer.

Modifications:

  • Handcrafted gas tank
  • Handcrafted exhausts
  • Lowered front forks
  • 325mm Marzocchi rear shocks
  • Removed battery
  • Renewed the wiring
  • Custom seat and new upholstery
  • Blasted en polished engine
  • VM36 carburetor

I wonder how this bike would look with some cool laced wheels…!
