The BMW R NineT keeps attracting custom bike builders. No news at all, since it was build as a modern café racer and comes with an extensive list of aftermarket parts. Big brands like Rizoma have an entire catalogue, just for the R NineT. This brew comes from Switzerland and is created by VTR Customs.
This bike is also listed in our 9 best custom BMW R nine T‘s.
I found this cool bike after a post of Bike EXIF about their radical BMW R80 “Polizei” Custom. It’s called the “Coffee Low Fat”, considering that this bike is a café racer with a big low and “fat” rear wheel & tire.
VTR Customs is a little crew of 3 BMW fanatics who live under the flag of Stucki 2Rad, a BMW Motorrad dealership. Their main goal with this project, was to make the R NineT a lot more “thin” and agile than the original bike.
They like to get brand new bikes to a whole other level and work their way around and extensive list of customizations. A few of them are:
- Redesigned gas tank and seat (with a custom fuel gauge)
- Custom 2 in 1 exhaust system made by Akrapovic
- Motogadget with custom speedo & tacho
- Fully custom aluminum cockpit
- All handlebar switches eliminated
As you can see: literally every single part of this bike has been taken care of. From the front to the back, this bike has it all.
Unfortunately these kind of custom motorcycles also come with a serious price tag: this BMW R NineT Custom is for sale at CHF 42,800 (around $42,700, 4-1-2016).
