Check out this cool, minimalistic BMW R45 Bobber: the last two-digit numbered build of Cafe Racer Dreams: CRD #99. Pedro and his team are on a custom build train that seems unstoppable. With almost 100 builds, literally, everybody interested in custom bikes, has seen one or more builds of them. Their order book is stuffed for the next couple of years but they don’t seem to get enough of it. This 99th build is based on a 1982 BMW R45. With this build, they followed the mantra “less is more” in a perfect way. A lot of custom works crafted by the CRD team like: frame modification, custom bobber seat, air filters, gas tank, head light, license plate holder and all kinds of small parts.
The minimalistic electronic system is built around a Motogadget M-Unit with a small starter button, LED blinkers and tiny speedo. The real vintage look is underlined by the Renthal Ultra Low handlebar (with Biltwell grips), tiny gas tank, classic Hagon shocks and the Firestone Deluxe tires. And that beautiful all-black design with a small white (typicall BMW) striping give it the ultimate finishing touch.
Awesome bike, and I can’t wait to see #100!
