BMW classics are a common choice for custom motorcycle builder. Recently we’ve featured an awesome BMW R100R Café Racer by Diamond Atelier, now the Austrian guys from Vagabund Moto showed us their version of the R100R Café Racer. It’s a healthy mix of a scrambler and café racer in one bike.
Vagabund has lifted custom motorcycle building to a serious form of art. They have a great eye for detail and perfection. But they also keep one important thing in mind: every bike they build must be great to ride too (and not only for the picture).
Before they started on this BMW R100R, they’ve made a sketch of their vision. It’s cool to see that the actual bike and the sketch are almost identical:
